we work with universities and research organizations to write papers, collaborate on grants, build effective research communities. As well as working directly on new research, we can pull the most relevant results out of the academic sector and put in front of industry and policymakers.

We develop and refine measurement methodologies, frameworks, standards and datasets that are credible, practical, and applicable across both academia and industry. We maintain a library of case studies that showcase real applications of our tools, methods and standards.
In 2025 we aim to roll out a certification program that will enable you to demonstrate adherence to modern standards and guidelines for software measurement.
We provide research services and strategic guidance to working groups and committees to inform their initiatives with evidence-based solutions. We nurture industry adoption of GSF methods,standards and tooling. We also represent GSF at conferences, workshops and other events.
